One of the main objectives of the project is to help boost economic growth of SCIs and SPAs in the Veneto region.
It represents a tangible solution for relaunching tourism.
The project promotes touring activities by bike, aimed at enhancing the territorial, economic and social aspects of the parks and mountain areas.
To promote cycling holidays as an environmentally friendly and eco-sustainable form of tourism to boost economic development, in line with the ROP policies of the Veneto Region whose objective is to preserve and valorise its natural heritage. The aim of the policies is to enhance, promote and make it easier for tourists to enjoy the sites of community importance (SCI) and special protection areas (SPA) throughout the region.
To increase economic growth in the tourism sector in both the mountain areas and parks in the region.
To encourage greater awareness and attention in tourists towards the natural and environmental heritage of the Veneto region.
